Preview! February 2024 JFSCOP Community Meet: Next-Gen Futures
How will Gen Z affect the way we do, and see, futures and foresight?
Mark your calendars! We're excited to announce our February 2024 JFS Community of Practice monthly meet.
The Session: Next-Gen Futures
Kelly Kornet Weber, Peter Bishop, and Juli Rush will lead us in a demo of new tools, and a discussion of what futures thinking for the next generation(s) might look like. Juli, who teaches at the University of Houston, will share how she makes foresight accessible for students, and will talk about Gen Z’s take on the future from her direct experience.
In the true spirit of our community of practice, Kelly and Peter will beta their new experiential futures improv game, which aims to gamify futures/foresight to help students and laypeople understand the larger issues, and the roles they can play to help shape things as the future unfurls.
